A later development from Babcock Wire Equipment for the drawing of EC aluminium, aluminium alloys and specifically Lamitref MS 200 alloy. The DC drives to all pullblocks and lubricant feed are microprocessor controlled permitting the elongation to be varied between 20% and 40% according to the menu selected.

The machine accepts a maximum inlet size of 12mm and is intended to produce a range of finishing sizes of 5.17mm in aluminium (4.65 maximum in Lamitref MS 200) to 2.0 mm minimum with a maximum speed of 40 mps.
